Cost: $22

Finish: Sheer

Natural Light - Right, one stroke - Left, many strokes

Unnatural Light - Right, one stroke - Left, many strokes
Color Family: Nude (aka there is a human whose lips are this color)

Form: Lipstick bullet.  The tube itself is made out of gold-ish metal, and is satisfying to open and close for some reason.  It makes me feel very sophisticated to to apply.

So fancy.
Color: Too Faced describes this color as "warm beige," and I think that's spot on.  It has a definite warm tone, verging on yellow.  My husband's response was "Oh, this one actually looks good!"

Natural Light

Unnatural light - Plus teeth!
Wear: This lipstick is exceptionally hydrating. It feels like a lip balm to me.  It has a nice shine to it without any sparkle or being over the top.  It settles into lip lines, though you can't tell unless you're looking for it/two inches away from a mirror.  Sounds great, right?

The only issue with this lipstick is the wear time.  I find it fades far more quickly than comparably hydrating formulas (Buxom's Full Bodied Lipstick comes to mind).  I can get maybe two hours of wear out of this baby, if I decide I no longer require food or drink.  It's possible you could drink everything through a straw, but that technique might only extend its life by an hour or two.

That being said, this formula is very forgiving and comfortable, so I don't necessarily mind reapplying it throughout the day.  I'm not sure, however, if it's really better than a decently pigmented tinted balm or other sheer lip color. I'm pretty sure I could find drugstore lipsticks with the same wear time and pigmentation.

How I Wear It: This lipstick is quite nice to wear to work.  It's very neutral, and works well for days I want to play up my eyes a little more, but in a "professional" way.  I would not wear this color or formula on a night out, especially if you plan to drink (it's hard to remember to reapply lipstick when you're trying to remember not to text your ex).

Who Should Buy It: Someone who doesn't mind frequent reapplications, wants a warm toned sheer nude, and is seduced by nice packaging.
